RE: Megastrike purchases Cavitron Buzzbait company.

Bobby Uhrig, President of Megastrike, Inc., today announced that his company had reached agreement with Lee Bailey Jr. to purchase the highly successful lure company, Cavitron Lures. Cavitron Lures is the manufacture of the famous Cavitron Buzzbait. It is a proven design that has claimed national championship wins on the Bassmasters Tour. The lure was designed and patented by Lee Bailey Jr and has been in production over ten years. The Cavitron buzzbait is the most well known buzzbait on all of the professional bass fishing circuits. Its unique combination of the precision gold anodized Cavitron prop, the patented "stealth" body and precision oxbow bend sets Cavitron Buzzbaits apart from all others. Cavitron is the slowest buzzbait you will ever use. Cavitron is a high end buzzbait .It comes with the highest grade components as well as setback Gamakatsu hooks which virtually eliminates the need for trailer hooks. Cavitron Buzzbaits come in 3 different sizes (1/8 1/4 and 3/8 oz.) Cavitron comes in 5 different colors (Black ,white , chartreuse. ghost minnow and chartreuse and white. We want to keep the colors simple. These are the colors that the fish see best. Most of the other colors sell fishermen rather than the fish itself. So we decided to keep it simple, IT works.

Bailey cited his extreme schedule fishing two national tours as the reason for the sale. " I have a lot of pride in the lure and the Cavitron company", said Bailey. Cavitron Lures will move it's manufacturing facilities to Jackson, NJ where Megastrike has it's operations located.
